CULINARY TRIP SUKABUMI, West Java

Hi guys, this time I went to Sukabumi West Java. Like most of Jakartans do on weekend we are usually go to Puncak, Bandung or Bogor (2-3 hours from Jakarta). But those destinations are always packs and trafiic, so I decided to go to Sukabumi West Java.

The best way to reach Sukabumi from Jakarta is by train, I wokeup early morning and arrived at Train station at 5am, I took 1 hour train from Jakarta to Bogor for 1 USD and then continue my journey 2 hours by train to Sukabumi for 5 USD (You have to book early a week before for train from Bogor to Sukabumi).

Tips:

  • Transportation: 
    • in Sukabumi, I rent a car with a driver for 600,000/ 50 USD/ day

Day 1 My culinary trip start with breakfast until dinner, as follows:

  1. Sarapan pagi Bubur Bunut (breakfast Chicken Porridge)
